Throughout his career, he has held influential roles at major organizations, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), and other regional and international bodies.

Career Highlights

– Occupied senior positions in the Department of Telecommunications and its PSUs, such as BSNL, TCIL, and MTNL.
– Garnered numerous accolades, including a Certificate and Silver Medal from the ITU, a specialized agency of the United Nations,
recognizing his exemplary contributions.

Recent Recognition

On March 22, 2023, Mr. Jha’s commitment and outstanding contributions to the ITU were celebrated in the Government of India’s Coffee Table Book,
“India@ITU Journey During 1869 – 2023.”

Post-Retirement Endeavors

Following his retirement, Mr. Jha has been actively sharing his expertise as a consultant with international organizations. As the Chairman of the
Ameliore Foundation, a registered NGO under the Companies Act of the Government of India, he continues to support innovation and sustainable development
within the telecommunications and ICT sectors.
